“Let’s Break It Down”
Hepatitis is often referred to as a "silent disease" because it frequently shows no symptoms in its early stages. However, if left undetected and untreated, hepatitis can lead to serious liver damage.
Watch out for the following symptoms:
-
Easily fatigued
-
Nausea and vomiting
-
Loss of appetite
-
Yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice)
-
Dark-colored urine
-
Pain in the upper right abdomen
Please note that not everyone with hepatitis experiences symptoms. Therefore, early detection is crucial, especially for those who have risk factors.
